Job summary

Agilent Technologies seeks a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing for ICP Expert and related platforms. You will design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks for desktop and enterprise software.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with Software Development, Product Management, and Quality Engineering, and mentor teammates in modern testing practices. This is a full-time, remote-friendly role in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Software Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of software testing and test automation experience.
• Strong programming skills in C#, .NET, Python, Java, or similar.
• Experience with UI, API, integration, and end-to-end test automation.
• Experience with Git and Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for desktop and enterprise software.
• Lead automation strategy for ICP Expert and related initiatives.
• Develop scalable, reliable automated tests and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Software Development, Product Management, and Quality Engineering on testing strategies.
• Identify automation opportunities and quality risks from requirements and designs.
• Mentor team members in automation best practices and testing methodologies.
