Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as SDET or Software Development Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Java, Python, or C#.
• Proficient in SQL with basic querying skills.
• Experience designing and developing automated test frameworks and test suites with Selenium, Appium, JUnit/TestNG.
• Experience in CI/CD processes and test automation.
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test complex API and web-based applications referencing back-end databases.
• Reproduce, debug, and isolate issues; verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers to create test artifacts: plans, cases, procedures, reports.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks and suites for functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Implement automated testing processes and tools across products.
• Drive testability and maintainability throughout the SDLC with engineering teams.
• Prioritize test cases for automation based on risk and usage.
• Execute tests and analyze results to identify defects and bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning to address quality and performance.
