Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a Senior Technical Writer to join our Architecture team in a remote role with occasional office visits. You will own and develop project specifications, guiding design teams and ensuring documentation standards across multiple market sectors.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in architecture, including 5+ years writing specifications, and familiarity with Deltek SpecPoint and RIB SpecLink. Collaboration with vendors and ongoing mentoring are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent required.
• 8 years of architectural experience with at least 5 years in architectural specification writing.
• Experience with building types in the assigned market preferred.
• Knowledge of Deltek SpecPoint and RIB SpecLink is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Owns responsibility for overall project specifications, including supporting design and project teams.
• Develops specifications for each project phase.
• Ensures compliance with company's documentation standards.
• Mentors staff and participates in Learning and Development.
• Manages submittal reviews and information requests related to project specifications.
• Maintains relationships with vendors and product representatives.
