Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Manager of Technical Service, Ruminant Animal Health to lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team. You will shape technical strategy, develop talent, and translate science into measurable customer value for dairy, beef, and forage markets.

You will partner with Sales, Marketing, R&D and Innovation to drive growth, lead trials, and engage with producers, veterinarians, and nutritionists across North America. Remote-ready role with extensive travel expectations.

Qualifications

• PhD, DVM or equivalent advanced degree in Animal Science, Dairy Science, Ruminant Nutrition, Veterinary Medicine, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in animal nutrition, animal health, technical services, research, consulting, or related industries.
• Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience, including coaching and developing technical professionals.
• Strong understanding of dairy and/or beef production systems.
• Demonstrated success partnering with commercial organizations to deliver customer value.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer focus and relationship building.
• Scientific rigor and analytical thinking.
• Collaboration and stakeholder management.
• Experience managing technical research programs and field trials.
• Strong background in trial design, execution, and statistical analysis.
• Established industry network among nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and producers.
• Passion for advancing animal health, nutrition, and sustainability through science-based innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North American Ruminant Technical Service team and ensure delivery of technical expertise across portfolio.
• Develop and execute the North American technical service strategy for ruminant solutions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Innovation to accelerate growth and customer success.
• Provide executive-level technical support for strategic customer opportunities and complex challenges.
• Engage with producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, consultants, and industry influencers across North America.
• Oversee technical trials, field validation programs, and research collaborations.
• Represent Novonesis at industry conferences and customer events.
