Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager for remote engagement in the US. The contract role oversees high-complexity healthcare payer initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams and executive governance while driving on-time, quality outcomes.

The position requires 5+ years of PM experience (10+ preferred), healthcare domain knowledge, and proven leadership across multiple workstreams. W2 benefits included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project/program management experience; principal-level 10+ years.
• Healthcare payer domain experience (health plan, insurance, enrollment, benefits).
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
• Experience delivering high-visibility initiatives with exec stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or 7+ years related experience in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple high-complexity projects and programs, including concurrent workstreams.
• Serve as the technical coordination point across business and technology partners.
• Own integrated program plans, interdependencies, and risk management across workstreams.
• Ensure deliverables are produced, reviewed, and approved against schedules.
• Manage resources from multiple delivery partners within approved hours and scope.
• Establish and run governance forums, steering committees, and executive reporting.
• Mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture in a matrixed environment.
