Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Sr Technical Project/Program Manager to lead planning and delivery of digital technology initiatives for a state health plan. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, drive schedules, and report to senior leadership in a remote contract setting.

The role focuses on enterprise initiatives, provider portal enhancements, and improving delivery processes, with W-2 benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related Project Management experience or 7+ years with no degree.
• 3+ years' experience delivering digital projects in insurance/healthcare/provider portals.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, SDLC, risk and dependency management.
• Experience with governance, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
• Certifications such as PMP, Agile, Scrum, or SAFe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery for digital initiatives with coordinated roadmaps and release timelines.
• Coordinate across Agile teams, engineering, product, stakeholders, vendors, and enterprise programs.
• Identify, assess, track, and escalate risks, issues, and decisions.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and quality standards are met.
• Manage resources, capacity, and budgets while supporting forecasting and planning.
• Communicate status to senior leadership and key business partners.
