Job summary
University of Maryland's Center for Advanced Transportation Technology Laboratory (CATT Lab) seeks an experienced Mid/Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytical solutions. The TPM serves as the primary liaison between technical teams, product stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
The role focuses ~80% on program management and ~20% on product ownership, with the option for 100% remote work for US-based employees.
Qualifications
- Master's degree required.
- 5+ years in program/project/product management roles.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to executives and customers.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytics solutions.
- Serve as liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
- Coordinate resources across multiple projects and disciplines.
- Oversee Software Eng, Data Science, Data Architecture, UX/UI, IT Ops, and Customer Support teams.
- Balance priorities with evolving requirements and timelines.
