Job summary
The University of Maryland is seeking a Mid/Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytics solutions. You will serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, product stakeholders, leadership, and customers to ensure successful delivery of CATT Lab products.
The role focuses ~80% on program management with up to 20% product ownership, coordinating Software Engineering, Data Science, UX/UI, IT Operations, and Customer Support
Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- 5+ years in program, project, or product management.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams (5+ members).
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methods.
- Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software and analytics solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across software, data science, data architecture, UX/UI, and IT operations.
