Job summary

The Emmes Company, LLC is seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruiting for Government & Life Sciences consulting roles. This remote position emphasizes results, budgeting, and building a strong pipeline to deliver top talent for clients from day one.

You will partner with practice leads, leverage sourcing techniques, and drive offers while maintaining an exceptional candidate experience and employer brand across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including consulting or professional services.
• Proven ability to source passive talent and close candidates in competitive markets.
• Experience managing recruiting budgets, agency fees, and benchmarking costs.
• Excellent stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Strong skills with ATS platforms and sourcing tools such as iCIMS and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting for consulting roles across levels, from intake to offer.
• Partner with practice leads to forecast demand, align hiring to utilization, and prioritize roles.
• Build and run proactive sourcing, including outreach, referrals, alumni networks, and competitor mapping.
• Manage budget: track cost-per-hire, agency spend, and channel ROI; cut underperforming channels.
• Negotiate and close offers against competing offers from consulting firms and industry.
• Reduce reliance on external agencies by building internal capability and a repeatable pipeline.
• Use data to report on time-to-fill, offer acceptance, pipeline conversion, and source of hire.
• Deliver a standout candidate experience to strengthen employer brand and referrals.
• Advise hiring managers on market compensation and interview rigor.
• Maintain a clean ATS and accurate pipeline reporting.
