Job summary

Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. in the United States (remote) seeks an Advanced Support Engineer, Diamond (Portuguese Speaking), for mid-senior level roles.

You will provide technical support to customers, facilitate installations, maintenance, and documentation, and collaborate with service managers on escalations across regions. The role requires 5–8 years in TAC or similar, enterprise firewall experience, and strong TCP/IP knowledge.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in TAC or equivalent technical support.
• Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, switching and routing.
• Experience with TCPDump and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Proficient in Linux commands and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with technical support through analytical skills, installations, maintenance, education, and documentation.
• Interface with clients at engineer and management levels; multi-task in a team environment.
• Occasional travel to customer sites in Latin America and abroad.
• Own customer-reported network issues and assist in rapid restoration and resolution.
• Reproduce issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution.
• Manage customer expectations and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Support Service Managers for high-profile escalations.
• Develop and maintain troubleshooting skills on Check Point products and related technologies.
