Job summary

RTX is seeking a remote Network Security Engineer to support enterprise network security, firewall configurations, and cloud integrations from Puerto Rico. The role involves hands-on work with Palo Alto and Checkpoint firewalls, DNS/DHCP/IPAM management, and collaboration on acquisitions/divestitures.

Travel ~10% may be required. Ideal candidates hold a degree in a related field with 1–2 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with at least 1 year in security roles.

Qualifications

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 1 year experience.

Responsibilities

• Review security requests and help design recommendations for RTX units.
• Deploy and configure cloud firewall solutions and policies.
• Administer Palo Alto and Checkpoint cloud firewalls under guidance.
• Support network security aspects of acquisitions and divestitures.
