Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our award-winning GovCon team. This remote role requires a active Secret clearance and hands-on experience across DevOps, IaC, Linux/Windows, and cloud environments.

You will build, secure, and maintain scalable infrastructure, automate with Ansible/Salt, manage AWS resources, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to deliver reliable systems for government workloads.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Linux (RHEL/CentOS, Ubuntu) administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud environments and AWS operations.
• Familiarity with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Salt).
• Experience in system integrations testing across SDLC.
• Working in an Agile project management environment.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, configuration, and administration of servers.
• Implement and enforce DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm for infrastructure.
• Develop scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
• Design scalable, redundant infrastructure across physical and virtual environments.
• Use Salt and Ansible for infrastructure automation and orchestration.
• Maintain system documentation and patching processes.
• Administer AWS cloud environments: provisioning, monitoring, optimization.
• Provide professional customer support and maintain strong relationships.
