Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our GovCon team in Quantico, VA. Hybrid work arrangement. You will design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes clusters across on‑prem and cloud environments.

The role requires 5+ years of Linux/Windows administration, hands-on experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Git, and Rancher Prime/RKE2. You will enhance security, automate provisioning, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years administering Linux and Windows enterprise server environments.
• Hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitLab/GitHub).
• Experience deploying/managing Kubernetes environments (SUSE Rancher Prime, RKE2, Helm).
• Familiarity with IaC (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
• DevSecOps integration of security into CI/CD pipelines and compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments (on‑prem and cloud).
• Design and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Ansible, and Git tooling.
• Deploy and manage SUSE Rancher Prime and RKE2 Kubernetes clusters and related networking/storage.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; proactively resolve infra issues.
• Implement IaC for provisioning and configuration management across environments.
• Collaborate with developers and security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices.
