Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator with an active Secret clearance to join a GovCon team. Remote work is available; you will perform Linux and Windows builds, patching, security hardening, and troubleshooting across virtual and physical environments.

You will manage Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, Salt and Ansible for automation, develop scripts in Python/Bash/PowerShell, and administer AWS cloud resources in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration and incident response fundamentals.
• Experience with DevOps practices, IaC, and cloud environments (AWS).
• Familiarity with container orchestration and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux and Windows builds, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Implement DISA STIG compliance across systems and networks.
• Develop server builds for virtual and physical environments.
• Manage and deploy system integration tools such as Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm.
• Develop scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for patching and automation.
• Administer cloud environments, particularly AWS, including provisioning and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Provide professional support to customers and maintain documentation.
