Mytra Robotics is seeking a Senior Sustainment Engineer to lead field issue escalation and drive reliability across live sites. You will translate field data into actionable feedback for Engineering and Manufacturing, mentor junior engineers, and partner with the Customer Operations team to ensure uptime and robust support.

Based in the SF Bay Area, you will engage with customer maintenance teams, develop playbooks, and manage on-site escalations and on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years in field service, reliability engineering, or sustainment roles, preferably with robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting with wiring, connectors, sensors, actuators, and partially energized systems.
• Proven RCA/CAPA experience and ownership of issues from first report to resolution.
• Familiarity with reliability metrics (MTBF, MTTR, uptime) and using them to gauge performance.
• Clear cross-functional communication and mentoring abilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Aufgaben

• Own technical escalation for complex field issues and lead RCA/CAPA activities.
• Translate field findings into ECRs and design-for-reliability recommendations in partnership with Engineering & Manufacturing.
• Track sustainment readiness metrics and flag trends before they become systemic.
• Handoff from Deployment into hypercare, ensuring artifacts and records are complete before steady-state support.
• Build and maintain technical guides and playbooks to reduce tribal knowledge and speed resolution.
• Oversee spare parts planning, service kit deployment, and CMMS/PLM usage; supervise contractors as needed.
• Mentor Sustainment Engineers and field technicians in troubleshooting discipline and documentation quality.
