Job summary

Mytra Robotics seeks a Sustainment Engineer to support deployed robotics at customer sites, ensuring uptime and clear communication with engineering. You will diagnose issues, perform maintenance, manage spare parts, and document every service event.

You’ll interact with maintenance teams and escalate with context as needed, advancing towards more complex root-cause work and mentorship. Based in the SF Bay Area, the role involves on-site customer work, travel across the US, and close

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of field service or similar experience in industrial/robotics environments.
• Hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting with power tools.
• Follows defined work instructions, checklists, and documents evidence clearly.
• Demonstrated safety discipline in live industrial environments.
• Clear, concise communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve field issues on deployed robotics and ASRS systems with hands-on actions.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance; support RCA and CAPA on recurring issues.
• Manage spare parts planning, service kits, and CMMS/PLM records for work orders.
• Serve as technical contact for customer maintenance and operations teams.
• Create accurate service event documentation: photos, measurements, steps, evidence.
• Follow and refine technical guides, manuals, and playbooks.
• Escalate issues with context, evidence, and recommendations to the Senior Sustainment Engineer.
