Job summary

Mytra is seeking a Sustainment Engineer to join our Customer Operations team as we scale from early deployments to a growing base of live sites. You will diagnose field issues on deployed robotics and ASRS systems, perform maintenance, and document actions with rigor.

Based in the SF Bay Area, you will travel to customer sites across the US after deployments begin, interacting with maintenance teams and the Senior Sustainment Engineer to uphold uptime and quality.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of field service, maintenance, or customer support engineering experience in industrial/robotics environments.
• Hands‑on electromechanical troubleshooting: wiring, connectors, sensors, actuators around powered equipment.
• Follows defined work instructions, documents evidence, and maintains quality under schedule pressure.
• Demonstrates safety discipline in live, powered industrial environments.
• Clear, concise communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve field issues on deployed robotics and ASRS systems with hands‑on corrective actions.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance; support root‑cause analysis and CAPA.
• Manage spare parts planning, service kit deployment, and CMMS/PLM record‑keeping for work orders.
• Act as primary technical contact for the customer’s maintenance team during routine support and escalations.
• Produce accurate documentation for every service event: photos, measurements, steps, evidence.
• Follow and help refine technical support guides and playbooks; escalate with context when needed.
• Escalate issues with root‑cause hypothesis and recommended next actions to the Senior Sustainment Engineer.
