Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the Substation Design Team on remote projects across the United States. This role emphasizes design automation, mentorship, and effective client communication, with PE or SE licensure strongly preferred.

You will develop structural design deliverables, review calculations, establish standards, and advance automation to accelerate engineering delivery. The position offers remote work from the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Master’s degree may be considered as portion of total experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams of engineers and designers and assume responsibility for their success on projects.
• Provide technical support for clients and support regional business development initiatives as a technical resource.
• Coordinate design activities with other disciplines and groups.
• Develop, improve, and champion engineering processes, tools, and technology that increase quality, consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the department.
