The role requires a law degree and 5 years of legal experience, with Wisconsin bar preferred. You will provide legal guidance to staff, ensure policy compliance, and contribute to the organization’s strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Completion of a law degree from an accredited program required.
• License to practice law in Wisconsin preferred.
• 5 years of experience working in legal required.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Draft legal documents and templates for division; manage document templates and corporate legal records.
• Perform records and legal research and prepare correspondence under limited supervision.
• Provide legal counsel to Navitus staff on business objectives and policy implications.
• Research statutes, judicial decisions, contracts and legal codes.
• File legal documents in digital and physical filing systems; develop processes for indexing and filing.
