Job summary
Enterprise Horizon Consulting Group is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support a federal customer. This fully remote role operates on Eastern Time and provides leadership across SQL Server environments both on-premises and in the cloud.
The position requires 8+ years of enterprise SQL Server experience with strong troubleshooting and performance tuning expertise. The role covers administration, operations, monitoring, maintenance, and development support, including high
Qualifications
- 8+ years of database administration experience.
- Advanced Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
- Federal IT experience or handling enterprise SQL environments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Microsoft SQL Server environments.
- Manage SQL Server Cluster environments and standalone databases.
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts and automation.
- Design and support backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
- Monitor health, capacity, availability, and performance using enterprise tools.
