Job summary
Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is seeking a Senior SQL Database Administrator to support enterprise databases and platform services for federal and commercial clients.
The role involves designing, configuring, and maintaining complex databases, backups, DR planning, and data governance across multi-location deployments. Qualifications
- BS in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of database domain and expert technical knowledge.
- Experience managing Oracle and SQL databases for federal or commercial clients.
- Demonstrated ability to implement HA, DR, backup, and recovery processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Serve as senior administrator for enterprise application databases and platform services.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize databases in client/server environments.
- Establish backup schedules and validate recovery capabilities; perform DR/COOP activities.
- Support reporting and analytics; run queries and assist with SSRS configuration.
