Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Specialty Representative to provide clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals in the Syracuse, NY area.

You will navigate the payer environment and drive approved product utilization through in-person and virtual engagement. The role requires strong sales experience, knowledge of oncology, inflammation or related fields, and ability to build customer relationships, manage access, and support contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate degree with 4 years of Sales experience OR HS diploma with 6 years of Sales experience
• Preferred: sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharma/biotech industry
• Local market knowledge and ability to engage physicians and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals
• Lead territory sales and achieve targets via in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop relationships to service accounts, manage reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities and territory plans
• Partner with colleagues to share best practices and learn
