Job summary

FedEx Dataworks seeks a Solution Architect to bridge our Connected Intelligence Core platform with enterprise prospects. You will own full-cycle deal execution for our enterprise SaaS and workflow orchestration suite, delivering tailored, technically solid solutions that address customer pain points and accelerate time-to-value.

The role combines deep technical fluency with executive communication, guiding discovery, architecture, live demos, POC, and contract negotiations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
4+ years in sales engineering, solution architecture, or consulting.
Strong communication with C-suite and engineers.
Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms and data integration.
Familiarity with API-first integration and data exchange.

Responsibilities

Own full commercial and technical ownership after qualification and manage pipeline stages.
Lead discovery and solutioning sessions to define architecture and data flows.
Deliver technical demonstrations and architect integration blueprints.
Capture requirements across ERP/WMS/TMS and other systems.
Draft proposals, navigate procurement reviews, and negotiate multi-year agreements.
Collaborate with Product and Sales on new capability exploration.
