Job summary

FedEx seeks an AI Architect to define the enterprise AI strategy and architecture, aligning with business goals, data governance, and enterprise architecture.

You will lead efforts to establish patterns, evaluate technologies, mentor teams, and guide senior leadership on AI applications across the organization. This hybrid role requires leadership, ML depth, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience solving ambiguous business problems with novel architectures.
• Experience designing reference architectures or reusable platforms.
• Ability to influence executive leadership and guide technical teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and execute FedEx’s enterprise AI strategy.
• Develop and maintain enterprise AI architecture with patterns.
• Define strategy for AI platforms, tools, and infrastructure.
• Lead evaluation and selection of AI technologies and partners.
• Provide expert consultation to business units on AI possibilities.
• Govern AI solutions to meet standards and best practices.
• Mentor talent and act as a thought leader internally and externally.
• Stay current with AI landscape and drive adoption of patterns.
