Job summary

SMX is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the DoW Solutions group to lead the design of complex software solutions for government and commercial clients. You will guide architecture and delivery teams, driving innovation from concept to deployment.

Responsibilities include requirements capture, decision-making leadership, mentoring staff, and status updates to clients. A Top Secret clearance, a CS degree, and 10+ years in solution architecture are required.

Qualifications

Top Secret clearance required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
10+ years in one or more corporate/government solution environments.
Experience as a Solution Architect with full lifecycle customer implementations.
Experience with Agile, Waterfall, SAFe methodologies.
Experience with cloud operations (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and design for next-generation solutions for clients.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teammates.
Assist in requirements analysis, timelines, and work plans from design to delivery.
Inform project status updates to clients and stakeholders.
Lead research and evaluation of software options (commercial, open source, DoD).
Develop and institutionalize go-to-market strategies for software applications.
