Qualifications

• 10+ years of total work experience in software testing/QA
• Proficient in programming languages (C#, Java, Python)
• Experience with manual and automated testing
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC
• Proficient in writing/executing test cases, scripts, and plans
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, QTP, LoadRunner)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions) and version control (Git/Subversion)
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter/Gatling) and defect-tracking tools (JIRA/Bugzilla)
• Knowledge of database/SQL for validating data and testing web APIs
• Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, system, usability, UAT)
• Understanding of security testing practices/tools
• Strong analytical/problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Willingness to mentor junior testers and translate business requirements into test scenarios
• Familiarity with test management tools and DevOps practices
• Ability to conduct test reviews and provide feedback
• Risk-based/exploratory/context-driven testing understanding

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to meet requirements
• Develop test schedules and approaches
• Write test cases/scripts and identify data for scenarios
• Conduct walkthroughs with Test Managers and Leads
• Perform and lead tests to ensure defect-free operation
• Document and communicate test results and progress
• Support analysis of test results and issue resolution
• Create daily test metrics and reports
• Engage in other IT system engineering activities as needed
• Apply technical principles to meet objectives
• Provide direction and mentor junior testers
• Review completed work for alignment with objectives
• Provide technical solutions to complex problems
• Manage test reviews and feedback
• Contribute to project success and inter-organizational collaboration
