Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer for a remote, full-time role with the Veterans Affairs department. The candidate will perform advanced testing across web and software applications, requiring strong programming skills (C#, Java, Python), manual and automated testing, and experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python as used in test automation.
• Experience with manual and automated testing across multiple platforms and services.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and load/performance tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and version control (Git, Subversion).
• Familiarity with API/web service testing and security testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
