Job summary

Informed K12 is seeking a senior engineer who will prototype with school districts using real data, learning by building alongside districts, and shaping how AI changes software delivery.

You will work with the Senior Director of Product Management and the Director of Customer Success as a peer to deeply understand district pain and to drive prototypes that can become core platform features.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience with direct customer embedding.
• Proven ability to convert demos into recurring revenue with real customer impact.
• Experience retiring prototypes when learning is complete.
• Comfortable shipping throwaway code for learning without core-system leakage.

Responsibilities

• Prototype with districts and real data to validate product hypotheses.
• Determine which prototypes graduate to core platform and which stay sandboxed.
• Collaborate with Senior Director of Product Management and Director of Customer Success as peers.
• Develop prototypes that generate real revenue opportunities.
