Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer for TimescaleDB Enterprise. You will help build and support an on-prem deployment platform, working across frontend and backend stacks with Go, TypeScript, and Ansible in a fully remote US role.

You’ll learn product thinking, customer empathy, and how to navigate ambiguity while collaborating with senior engineers to deliver reliable, scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Foundational software engineering experience (1–3 years) including internships or projects.
• Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript, or ability to pick up new languages quickly.
• Comfort with Linux fundamentals: shell, SSH, services, containers, networking.
• Interest in multi-layer systems from backend to user-facing tooling.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Learn from and contribute to the design and development of TimescaleDB Enterprise, the on-prem deployment and management platform.
• Develop core product capabilities under guidance, including consoles and user-facing tooling (React + TypeScript), backend services (Go), and deployment workflows (Ansible).
• Build operational tooling for production PostgreSQL databases and customer administration experiences.
• Write tests across unit to end-to-end levels and translate requirements into pragmatic product solutions.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering and cross-functional teams to drive product direction.
