Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to advance our enterprise social media SaaS platform. You will contribute across the core platform, building fast, simple, and elegant software in a CI/CD environment.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years designing interactive UI with JavaScript/React/Node.js, strong data structures and performance know-how, and experience with Postgres, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP. This remote role supports collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience designing and implementing highly interactive UI for high-volume robust web applications.
• Undergraduate degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
• Solid programming skills in JavaScript and React.js / Node.js.
• Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
• Advanced knowledge with relational databases (Postgres), including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience working in a Cloud environment (GCP)
• User-Centric: strong empathy for end-user and improvement of experience.
• Comfortable distributed systems, message queues, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.).
• Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality products to users.
• Work in a fast-paced CI/CD Kanban environment and participate actively in feature development and bug resolution.
• Capable of managing multiple projects with material-technical risk across teams and processes; may serve as a functional lead or technical owner.
• Work on several company products to extend functionality and to maintain zero customer-reported bugs.
• Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing.
• Additional duties as assigned.
