Actalent is seeking a Senior Site Contracts Associate for a remote contract role based out of Durham, NC. The role delivers investigator contract templates, pricing, payment terms, and training to RSU teams, ensuring compliant, efficient contract execution across multi-protocol programs.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in site contracting for clinical studies, with demonstrated global or regional negotiation experience and strong contract management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical site contracting experience with a sponsor or CRO.
• Global and/or regional experience as a contract negotiator.
• Experience in site contract and budget negotiation for clinical research studies.
• Understanding of clinical research operations related to contracting and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of investigator contract templates, protocol pricing, payment terms, and training to local negotiation teams and RSU leads, to support contract and budget negotiations for clinical research studies.
• Provide legal, operational, and financial contracting support to study teams and related functions, ensuring site agreements enable efficient business development, trial initiation, and maintenance while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Develop and coordinate investigator grant estimates, contracting strategies, and proposal text to support the proposal development process and business development activities.
• Draft and refine contract language, payment language, and budget templates as required for site agreements and clinical trial contracts.
• Utilize and maintain contracting systems, tools, processes, and training materials for selected sponsors, studies, or multi-protocol programs according to the Scope of Work and Project Plan.
