Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a Senior ServiceNow developer to support ongoing DHS application development, leading a team and building custom ServiceNow apps with an agile team. Focus includes dashboards, reporting, and integrating ServiceNow with legacy systems, while delivering front- and back-end components in a blended stack.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 8+ years of experience (3+ in ServiceNow), US citizenship for DHS clearance, and testing expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree required.
8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years in development (2 years as lead).
3+ years' experience in ServiceNow and the Now Platform - ITSM, App Engine and/or Integration Hub.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain DHS clearance.
Experience with unit and end-to-end automated tests.
Proficient with Jira and GitHub.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of developers on strategy, planning and execution of customized applications.
Develop, maintain and expand a set of custom ServiceNow applications leveraging the Now Platform.
Connect front and back-end components to a blended tech stack and integrate with legacy systems.
Support dashboard development and metrics creation from ServiceNow data.
Deliver lightweight back-end services and front-end web work.
Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues.
Drive innovation in technologies, processes and tools.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams on requirements and user stories.
