Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior ServiceNow developer to support ongoing DHS application development. You will lead a team, build on the Now Platform with ITSM and App Engine components, and integrate with legacy systems while delivering dashboards and metrics from ServiceNow data.

The role is fully remote and requires 8+ years of experience, a Bachelor's degree, and U.S. citizenship for DHS clearance eligibility. Collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 8+ years of work experience.
• 5+ years’ development experience including 2 years as lead developer.
• 3+ years' experience with ServiceNow and the Now Platform (ITSM, App Engine or Integration Hub).
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain DHS clearance.
• Experience writing unit and end-to-end automated tests.
• Proficiency with Jira and GitHub.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers on development strategy, planning and execution of customized ServiceNow applications.
• Develop, maintain and expand custom ServiceNow applications on the Now Platform.
• Build front- and back-end components and integrate ServiceNow with legacy systems.
• Support dashboard development and metrics from ServiceNow data.
• Deliver lightweight back-end services and front-end web work.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues and promote technological innovation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum teams on requirements and stories.
