Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking a Senior Specialist of Self-Pay Operations to oversee and optimize the self-pay collections process in a remote role. You will manage bad debt inventory, acute/PRC inventory, and statement holds, while guiding a team and delivering detailed analyses for leadership.

The ideal candidate has extensive healthcare billing/collections experience, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality. The role may require travel to client sites or offices as needed.

• 2 Years/associate’s degree or equivalent experience
• Microsoft Office experience
• Revenue Cycle knowledge
• Critical thinking

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the self-pay collections process.
• Oversee bad debt inventory management, placements, returns and reconcile transactions.
• Oversee Acute and PRC inventory management.
• Review deceased accounts for proper handling and resolution.
• Review and resolve statement holds for timely billing and collections.
• Prepare and analyze self-pay aging performance reports and ATB summaries for leadership.
• Ensure billing and collections activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide guidance to the self-pay operations team and foster a collaborative environment.
• Identify and implement process improvements in self-pay operations.
