Job summary

Savers is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant – SEC Reporting to support SEC reporting and technical accounting activities. This role collaborates across the accounting team to enhance financial disclosure and ensure GAAP compliance.

The position offers hybrid or fully remote work arrangements. Qualifications include a CPA, a Bachelor's or Master's in accounting or finance, at least four years of accounting experience, and experience with SEC forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K.

Qualifications

• Experience with debt accounting and cash flow preparation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC Regulations S-K and S-X.
• Experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Confidence researching U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive results.
• Experience designing, implementing, and performing SOX controls.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accounting and reporting of debt and deferred compensation.
• Prepare the statement of cash flows.
• Assist with preparation/review of financial statements per U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Perform technical accounting research on derivatives, stock-based compensation, leases, and acquisitions.
• Support implementation of new accounting and reporting guidance and related processes.
• Interact with internal and external auditors and manage PBC requests.
• Assist with or lead ad hoc finance projects.
• Assist with SOX controls implementation and management.
