Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co is seeking a Senior Associate - Lead Salesforce Developer to shape the Customer & Field Service Experience on the Salesforce platform. You will lead design, development, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions, balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership across the ART and TDAV teams.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure Salesforce capabilities that power Customer Service Representatives, Field Service, and Agent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and administration experience.
• Deep expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Experience, LWC, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, declarative tools, and Salesforce architecture.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, sharing rules, REST/SOAP APIs, integration patterns, and Service Cloud.
• Experience in Agile environments, with Jira, source control, testing methodologies, and SDLC best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, customization, and ongoing enhancement of Salesforce solutions using Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
• Architect, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure Salesforce applications and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into Salesforce solutions that improve customer, agent, and employee experiences.
• Optimize the development lifecycle with automation, performance tuning, issue resolution, and documentation.
• Mentor teammates, promote coding standards, adopt Salesforce capabilities, and drive continuous improvement within the teams.
