Job summary

Mativ is seeking a Sales Manager for Industrial & Optical Films to lead our commercial effort and directly manage key accounts. The role reports to the Sales Leader for Surface Solutions Films and emphasizes collaboration across Sales Operations, R&D, and Plant Operations.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in Technical Sales, 5+ years in sales leadership, and proven ability to navigate complex matrix environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• 10+ years' experience in Technical Sales.
• 5+ years' sales management with company direct and/or independent sales rep.
• Experience in complex matrix organizations with multicultural customers.
• Experience in sales of films, paper, or nonwovens is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 40%+, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration with internal capabilities across Sales Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Product management and Plant Operations.
• Deepen connections with customers and advance product knowledge to become a preferred supplier.
• Build a pipeline to ensure growth and close new business to hit revenue targets.
• Retain and expand accounts by developing relationships with key decision makers.
• Provide direct account management and resource coordination.
• Identify opportunities with curiosity and deliver results.
• Demonstrate urgency, accountability, and sound commercial judgment.
