Job summary

Yugabyte is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its fast-growing global sales team. As a Sales Engineer, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers by demonstrating how YugabyteDB solves complex distributed data problems in real-world applications.

You will work with account executives, product managers, and engineering to guide customers through evaluation, adoption, and successful implementation of our technology, helping them design scalable cloud-native deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role in enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of databases, cloud platforms, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB or similar distributed SQL tech.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to qualify opportunities and drive technical sales.
• Conduct tailored demos, architecture deep-dives, and hands-on workshops.
• Lead POC engagements with customer engineers to deploy YugabyteDB.
• Create technical collateral and represent Yugabyte at events.
