Yugabyte, a leader in distributed PostgreSQL databases, is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their global sales team. In this role, you will partner with Account Executives to engage customers and demonstrate how YugabyteDB meets complex data needs. You'll lead product demos, provide technical support, and represent the company at events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of databases and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Account Executives to understand customer requirements.
• Conduct tailored product demos and workshops.
• Lead proof-of-concept engagements with customers.

Skills

Customer-facing technical role experience

Understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL)

Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

Experience with distributed systems

Excellent communication skills

Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB

Familiarity with modern application stacks

Experience in open-source software
