Job summary

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Senior Manager, Safety to lead our safety program from a remote-based role. You will oversee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and drive safety initiatives across projects nationwide.

You will develop policies, conduct on-site evaluations, deliver training, and partner with the Safety Director to resolve issues while coaching teams to embody a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in safety services for construction/mining/energy.
• Knowledge of OSHA, MSHA and DOT regulations.
• Willingness to travel US and be on-call 24/7 for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental, health, and safety expertise to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Create functional strategies to address risk, health, and safety issues identified during on-site visits.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements.
• Work with operations to ensure safe activities in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with Safety Director to address and resolve significant issues.
• Participate on Safety Council to provide insights and coaching.
