Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking an Associate Director, Safety to lead and strengthen our field safety organization nationwide. You will oversee Regional Safety Managers, drive consistency, and align safety with project planning and operations.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years of safety leadership, hands-on field experience, and strong knowledge of OSHA standards. This remote role requires 50-75% travel across the U.S. and a willingness to lead across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a safety-related field is required; safety-focused degrees preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive safety experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience coordinating safety across multiple sites and states.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and safety compliance practices.
• Professional safety certification such as CSP, ASP, or CHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop four Regional Safety Managers across the U.S.
• Create consistency and accountability in regional safety programs and reporting.
• Integrate safety into project planning and field operations with leadership partners.
• Oversee incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions.
• Communicate safety priorities and metrics to field teams and leadership.
