Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group's Safety Management System (SMS) team is seeking a senior engineer to lead client projects, design and implement comprehensive safety management systems, and advance pipeline safety programs.

This remote role offers opportunities to mentor staff, ensure compliance with API RP 1173, ANSI Z10, and ISO 45001, and collaborate with Project Managers and Business Unit Leaders to strengthen processes and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, and/or engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years of work experience, 5+ years at a natural gas, liquid pipeline, or electric utility.
8+ years at a company or engineering consulting firm in a high risk, high reliability organization (nuclear energy, electrical or gas utilities).
Collaborative approach to problem solving.
Ability to build relationships with clients and staff members.
Technical or leadership expertise (expert level) related to one or more disciplines.
Valid driver's license for required travel.

Responsibilities

Lead diverse projects applying broad engineering expertise.
Guide consulting teams and coordinate with Project Managers and Business Unit Leaders.
Mentor and train team members on SMS and code compliance.
Drive quality control and change management systems.
Identify new business opportunities and collaborate across units.
