EarnIn is seeking a Staff Risk Analyst to join our Risk team. You will turn data into insights, build forecasting, and shape risk policy for credit decisions while collaborating with ML, product, and engineering teams. The role focuses on limit/max policy, member retention, and forecasting to drive growth.

This remote US role offers equity and benefits, with some in-office work required for Mountain View HQ location two days per week for locals while remaining fully remote for others.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in credit risk analytics, decision science, or risk strategy in fintech or consumer finance.
• Expert in SQL and proficient in Python for analysis and experimentation.
• Knowledge of fintech risk fundamentals, limit/max policy, and portfolio monitoring.
• Experience designing and evaluating experiments (A/B tests) and translating results into recommendations.
• Forecasting or curve-based modeling (cash flow, loss, usage) experience.
• A strong communicator able to translate findings into actionable business guidance.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with ML, Product, Engineering, and Operations.

Mansioni

• Own policy optimization for member credit limits balancing retention, churn, and risk.
• Design, run, and evaluate policy experiments and A/B tests.
• Own forecasting and reporting infrastructure for risk and portfolio visibility.
• Explore data to refine risk strategies and surface emerging trends.
• Define metrics and build reports/dashboards for policy/portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with ML, Product, Engineering, and Operations to translate analysis into changes.
• Work with ML teammates on model development lifecycle and deployment monitoring.
• Partner with Product to align risk policy with customer experience and business outcomes.
