Job summary

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Senior Risk Advisory Consultant to lead and execute cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance programs for diverse clients. You will plan scoping, deliver reports, and develop roadmaps to improve client maturity.

This remote US role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity, strong GRC expertise, and the ability to present findings to executives. You will mentor junior consultants and help grow internal methodologies while delivering high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the cybersecurity industry.
• Experience with governance, risk, and compliance planning and management.
• Familiarity with multiple frameworks (NIST, ISO, SOC, PCI, HIPAA, CMMC, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Plan, scope, execute, and report cybersecurity risk assessments.
• Collaborate with client leadership to develop maturity roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Review controls against best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Lead tabletop exercise engagements with realistic client scenarios.
• Create client reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Identify risks and provide actionable recommendations.
• Develop long-term roadmaps for client maturity.
• Assist with proposals, budgets, and project plans.
