Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Lead, Retirement Benefits to provide operational leadership for retirement programs and employee financial wellbeing. The role sets direction, governance, and performance standards across plan administration and fiduciary responsibilities.

You will manage relationships with recordkeepers, actuaries, consultants, and vendors; oversee compliance and audits; and use dashboards and insights to drive retirement readiness and financial security across the business.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of retirement benefits experience or related field.
• Strong knowledge of defined contribution plans, ERISA, and compliance.
• Experience leading governance, compliance, and vendor management.
• Experience developing retirement readiness strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with HRIS and dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end retirement plan administration and governance.
• Establish objectives, standards, and performance expectations.
• Own relationships with recordkeepers, trustees, actuaries, consultants, and partners.
• Oversee compliance activities: testing, filings, notices, audits, data collection.
• Execute financial wellbeing strategy to improve retirement readiness.
• Design and manage financial wellbeing programs and vendor solutions.
• Define success measures and use insights to guide priorities.
• Lead communications and education for retirement benefits.
• Own quarterly retirement plan dashboard and scorecard.
• Analyze plan and participant data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain controls, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Monitor regulatory developments and drive required changes.
