Job summary

Newell Brands is seeking a Lead, Retirement Benefits to drive the strategy and governance of the company’s retirement programs. This remote role supports the Total Rewards team across the US, partnering with recordkeepers, actuaries, and vendors to deliver compliant, secure programs.

You will manage plan administration, governance cycles, and employee education initiatives, leveraging dashboards to measure impact and optimize retirement readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in retirement benefits, employee benefits, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end retirement plan administration and governance; establish objectives, standards, risk controls, and performance expectations.
• Own relationships with recordkeepers, trustees, actuaries, consultants, and partners; evaluate performance and fees; enforce SLAs.
• Manage annual compliance, fiduciary, and governance activities including nondiscrimination testing, filings, plan audits, and data collection.
• Define and monitor financial wellbeing programs and education; align with Total Rewards and business goals.
• Create quarterly retirement plan dashboards and present trends and actions to leadership.
