General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Senior Release Analyst to coordinate and govern release cycles for updates to the HIGLAS product suite.

The role supports ITSM, change governance, and AI-driven enhancements while ensuring safe, efficient delivery across a large government-focused environment. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in release management, ITIL, and cross-functional collaboration, with a track record of improving processes and metrics.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent with 3+ years in release governance.
• 8+ years in large-scale application environments.
• 2+ years with JIRA or ServiceNow.
• ITIL foundation certification.
• Experience with AI concepts in IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Support the efficiency and effectiveness of the Release Management process.
• Govern the Release Phases and Release Tasks for in-flight Releases.
• Maintain quality checks on releases and link to incidents.
• Ensure teams follow guidelines and address non-conformity.
• Maintain the Global Release Calendar.
• Attend Timeline Planning meetings to confirm risks and dependencies.
• Present release status at readiness reviews and CAB meetings.
• Coordinate release outage and maintenance notifications.
• Complete post-release reviews.
• Facilitate meetings with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and internal teams.
• Create and maintain Deliverables, SOPs, Reports, Dashboards and KPIs.
