Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Release Analyst to govern release cycles for the HIGLAS product suite within an AI-driven ITSM environment.

You will coordinate release phases, ensure quality controls, and work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and internal teams to provide updates and deliverables. This role supports a remote location across the United States with a strong focus on GDIT’s mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or the equivalent plus 3+ years of Release Management governance experience.
• 8+ years’ experience with processes in a large-scale application environment.
• 3+ years’ experience with MS Office applications.
• 2+ years’ experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or similar Change/Release Management tools.
• 2+ years’ experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and its core processes.
• ITIL foundation certification.
• Strong communication for reporting and coordination.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Awareness of cybersecurity in release cycles.

Responsibilities

• Govern Release Phases and Release Tasks for in-flight releases.
• Maintain quality checks on releases and track incidents.
• Ensure teams follow Release Management guidelines and address non-conformities.
• Maintain the Global Release Calendar and plan with timelines.
• Present release status at readiness and CAB meetings.
• Coordinate release outages and maintenance notifications.
• Conduct post-release reviews and document outcomes.
• Lead status meetings with product owners and teams.
• Create Deliverables, SOPs, reports, dashboards, KPIs for Release Mgmt.
