Job summary

NuScale is seeking an experienced professional to support the Plant Maintenance Program Manager in developing maintenance programs, work control, tagging, and outage planning for online and outage scenarios. The role requires an SRO license or Certification and extensive nuclear industry experience.

Contract position for 12–24 months, remote nationwide within the contiguous United States, with travel as required. Strong collaboration with NRC and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a technical field or 5 years nuclear plant experience in lieu of a degree.
• NRC issued SRO license is highly desirable.
• 8+ years of full-time experience in the commercial nuclear power industry; outage planning experience desired.
• Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance programs, work control, tagging, and outage planning.
• Create standardized work packages and perform operational reviews of engineering solutions.
• Develop procedural documentation to support plant operations.
• Present technical information to the NRC, customers, and stakeholders.
• Develop cost estimates and schedules to support product delivery and business development.
• Perform design reviews to ensure safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the NuScale plant.
• Attend daily/weekly work management meetings as work control liaison.
