Job summary

Nourish is seeking a Senior RCM Associate to support all billing and revenue cycle operations, resolving patient billing tickets, managing claim workflows, and building scalable RCM processes as we expand service lines and payer contracts.

You will collaborate with Clinical Ops, Payer Ops, Customer Experience, and Product teams to ensure billing is a seamless part of care, enabling timely payments and smooth patient experiences. This is a remote role with NYC office option.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a revenue cycle, medical billing, or healthcare operations role.
• Familiar with insurance billing workflows - including claim submission, denial management, ERA reconciliation, and payer communications.
• Patient-first communicator - professional, empathetic, and able to de-escalate billing concerns.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through.
• Energized by technology and automation - comfortable shaping AI-powered billing tools.
• Medical coding background (CPC/CCS credentialed) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient-facing and internal billing questions, including denials and insurance verifications.
• End-to-end claims processing via our clearinghouse; collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Suggest automation or new tools to streamline RCM processes and improve execution.
• Lead ad-hoc RCM projects such as payer-specific billing or new service lines.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for RCM workflows and identify process gaps.
• Coordinate with Product/Engineering to test and optimize AI-powered billing tools.
